Day 106: Gas fittings

My gas fitting arrived this morning, though not the combination sink and hob still there are a couple of days to go out of their 4-5 day promised delivery timescales. I'm also waiting on the fridge installation dimensions from shoreline before I can finalise the drawings and start on the kitchen cabinets.
I got the Formica (theres a name to conjour with) for the worktops and splash backs on order. This evening was first spent assembling the compression fittings into the gas solenoid, then the gas feed pipe (I could now fill the tank should I so desire). After that I wasted 15minutes attempting to fit the gas regulator to the gas tank before realising that it was a left hand thead
