Day 133: Kitchen wall

Sunday 18 July 2010

This morning before a trip to Bedford river festival, I managed to get the holes cut in the kitchen wall panel, and the panel glued to the wall. Due to the curvature of the wall and the fact that there is a window in it I temporarily screwed the panel up so that it pulled in tight.

On our return from Bedford I trimmed the formica, this time I managed to do it without a problem, and then between us we got it adhered to the wall.

The two plates on the wall are a standard 3-pin mains outlet and an isolation switch which allows the gas solenoid under the van to be turned on and off. This is in addition to the fact that the solenoid valve closes when the ignition is turned on and opens when it turns off.
